2015: What's to Come?

Now that we're a few days in to 2015 and the Best of 2014 lists are out there, it's about time I highlight what's going to happen on this blog in the foreseeable future.

In terms of actual film reviews, I have a lot more planned out due to the sheer mass of releases, with plans for the large plethora of films out this month in the process (including Birdman, Theory of Everything, Big Hero 6 and more). A lot more films will be watched, and hopefully this will translate to a lot more reviews. Trailer Talk will also continue as normal, with the next instalment planned for after the incoming Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer. As for non-recent film reviews, I may do another run of reviews in the same light as last year's Pixar Perspective, focussing on a yet-to-be-decided franchise, studio or actor.

In terms of Doctor Who reviews, Series 9 reviews will be present come August/September time once they began airing. But in the meantime, with the 10th anniversary of the show's resurrection coming up, I'll be reviewing each episode of Series 1 on the same day as they originally aired, starting 26th March through to 18th June, with the later Christmas special reviewed during that period (the date itself will be reserved for the expected Capaldi special)

Of course, other things will come out. I may revisit firm favourites of mine or watch a popular film for the first time, or discuss a big news update like I've done with the Toy Story 4 and Doctor Strange announcements. If requested, I can do articles focussing on elements of Doctor Who or film franchises with a specific topic in mind - depending on whether there's enough to discuss.

But for the meantime, keep an eye out for any new reviews and enjoy the start of a brand new year here!
